Who Controls The Data

Videshway is the Data Fiduciary for this website.

Videshway, Malviya Nagar, Jaipur, Rajasthan 302017, India, decides why and how inquiry information collected through this website is used. You can reach the privacy and grievance contact at info@videshway.com or +91 70147 35073.

Short DPDP notice: we collect the personal data you choose to share, use it for the stated admission, school partnership, resource, chat, voice, and follow-up purposes, and give you the rights to withdraw consent, access a summary, correct, update, complete, erase, nominate, and raise a grievance.

What We Collect

Only what is needed for the inquiry or service.

When you request a call back, submit a school partnership inquiry, unlock a resource, use the chatbot or voice agent, or request an appointment slot, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, current grade, school name, city, role, preferred appointment time, page source, and the context you choose to share.

We also collect limited technical context such as page URL, referrer, UTM campaign fields, session ID, browser user agent, and an IP address hint. The website may store a limited copy in your browser so the WhatsApp handoff and concierge can work smoothly.

Purpose Of Use

We use it to respond and support the requested journey.

We use inquiry details to respond to you, understand student or school fit, schedule a strategy conversation, deliver requested resources, manage follow-up, maintain lead records, improve website performance, prevent misuse, and meet legal or business record obligations.

For counselling families, you may later choose to share academic records, essays, test scores, university lists, or other application material. Those details are used for counselling, planning, and application support. Named student results, testimonials, or offer letters should be published only with appropriate permission.

Consent And Withdrawal

You choose what to share, and you can withdraw later.

Website forms now ask for clear consent before submission. Chat and voice features ask you to share contact details only if you consent to Videshway processing them for follow-up. You can withdraw consent by emailing info@videshway.com, calling +91 70147 35073, or replying "STOP" on WhatsApp.

Withdrawal does not affect processing already completed while consent was valid, but we will stop using your details for future consent-based follow-up unless another lawful obligation requires limited retention.

Service Providers

Trusted tools help us run the site and respond.

We may use hosting, database, serverless, email, phone, WhatsApp, analytics-lite, speech-to-text, and voice-generation providers to operate the website and respond to inquiries. These providers process information for Videshway's purposes and not to sell your inquiry details.

If you use the voice agent, your voice note or browser speech transcript may be processed to create a text transcript. If you choose the chatbot's Listen option, assistant reply text may be processed to generate audio playback. These features are optional.

Children And Students

Admissions guidance often involves minors.

Because Videshway works with school students, forms for student inquiries ask that a parent or guardian is involved when the student is under 18. Students under 18 should not submit detailed personal information without parent or guardian involvement.

Before processing deeper counselling or application records for a minor, Videshway expects parent or guardian participation in the engagement.

Retention

We keep details only as long as there is a real reason.

Standard website inquiry records are generally kept for up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction, unless the family or school becomes an active relationship or legal, accounting, dispute, security, or business record needs require longer retention.

Voice transcripts and chat messages are generally reviewed and kept only as needed for follow-up, quality, security, and record purposes. Browser-stored copies remain on your device until you clear browser storage.

Your Rights

You can ask for access, correction, erasure, nomination, and grievance support.

You may request a summary of personal data being processed, correction of inaccurate data, completion or updating of incomplete data, erasure where applicable, withdrawal of consent, and nomination of another person to exercise rights if needed.

Send requests to info@videshway.com with enough detail for us to verify and act on the request. We acknowledge privacy and grievance requests within 7 working days and aim to resolve them within 30 days. If your grievance is not resolved through this route, you may use the complaint route made available by the Data Protection Board of India.

Security And Transfers

We protect access and limit disclosure.

Videshway uses HTTPS, protected backend routes, role-limited database access, private service keys, and operational controls to reduce the risk of unauthorised access. No security system is perfect, so we also monitor for issues and will respond to reportable incidents as required by law.

Some service providers may process data outside India. Videshway uses such providers only where permitted by applicable law and with appropriate operational safeguards.
