Dear parent,

When my own Oxford admit arrived, the first thing I felt was not joy. It was the sudden, sharp awareness of how close I had come to missing it — not for lack of ability, but for lack of someone who had walked the path and could point at the turns. I grew up in Jaipur. The students around me were as ambitious as any in Mumbai, Delhi, or Singapore. What they lacked was never talent. It was bandwidth, structure, and honest guidance.

Videshway began with that conviction, and five hundred students later it has only sharpened. We are not an agency. We do not process applications. We sit on your side of the table for years — through the wandering conversations of Grade 9, the hard prioritisation of Grade 11, the four a.m. essay drafts of deadline season — and we tell you the truth at every step.

The truth is sometimes uncomfortable. We will tell you when a shortlist is built on hope instead of data. We will tell you when an activity is padding, not substance. We will tell you, before any engagement begins, if we believe we are not the right fit for your child — because an honest no at the start is worth more than a polished apology at the end.

What we promise in exchange is everything we have. A mentor who knows your child's file better than their own. A plan in writing, with milestones you can hold us to. Essays that sound like your child at their most articulate — never like us. And named alumni, at named universities, whose results we stand behind publicly.

We will never promise a guaranteed Ivy League admit. No honest firm can. What I can promise is this: your child will finish this process more capable, more articulate, and more certain of who they are than when they began. The admit, in our experience — five hundred times now — tends to follow.
